Wheel Building 101

One person is interested in this workshop

It's time. Many have dared, but none have done. Some sucker (me) has finally volunteered to do a wheel building workshop at a Bike!Bike! This will be a mostly show and tell since getting multiple people actively involved simultaneously in building a wheel is a fools errand. So, come ready to take notes, take pictures, and remember. I will probably grab a few volunteers from the audience to perform different parts as well. This workshop will be a bit on the longer side and may get broken up in to two parts. We will be doing a 3 cross, 32 hole front hub to keep things as simple and generic as possible. We will cover lacing, lateral truing, radial truing, correct tensioning, and dishing. Additionally, we can go in to spoke prep, and hub and rim measurements for spoke selection if we have time. Look forward to seeing you all!!
