Bike!Bike! Southeast 2017
Bike!Bike! Southeast is a regional gathering of community bike shops, co-ops and collectives to celebrate inclusive cycling community and to share knowledge. It will be a weekend of fun, friends, and workshops punctuated with fun rides and nighttime activities.
Bike!Bike! Southeast 2017 is only a few days away and we are pumped to host everyone!! We have some sweet rides, thought provoking workshops and delicious food planned. Below are some initial details we wanted to shared:
Schedule:
Thursday
· 6:30pm - 7:30pm: Check-in/Reception
· 7:30pm: Take a ride into DC Old Town Alexandria to Lost Dog Cafe
Friday
· 8:00am - 9:00am: Breakfast/Check-in
· 9:00am - 10:30am: Workshop Sessions #1 (Bike Coop Organization and Storage & Youth Programming)
· 10:30am - 11:00am: Break
· 11:00am - 12:30pm: Workshop Sessions #2 (Hablamos Bici & Non-Profit and Co-op Organizational Leadership)
· 12:30pm - 2:00pm: Lunch
· 2:00pm - 3:30pm: Workshop Sessions #3 (Organizational Vision and Measurable Goals & Wheelie Workshop)
· 3:30pm - 4:00pm: Break
· 4:00pm - 5:30pm: Workshop Sessions #4 (WTF Programming & Free Bike Freeforall?)
· 5:30pm - 7:00pm: Dinner
· 7:00pm: Hang-out @ Pork Barrel
Saturday
· 8:00am - 9:00am: Breakfast/Check-in
· 9:00am - 10:30am: Workshop Sessions #1 (Community Bike Shop Software & Bike Parts for the Rest of Us)
· 10:30am - 11:00am: Break
· 11:00am - 12:30pm: Bike Tour of DC
· 12:30pm - 2:00pm: Lunch @ Gearin' Up Bike Coop
· 2:00pm - 3:00pm: Rolling Resistance - A Women/Trans/Femme Alleycat Registration @ Malcom X Park
· 3:00pm - 6:00pm: Rolling Resistance - A Women/Trans/Femme Alleycat
· 6:00pm - 9:00pm: Alley Cat After Party & Dinner @ Colony Club
Sunday
· 8:00am - 11:00am: Breakfast/Merch Swap/BBSE 2018 Location/Chill

Bike Accessories:
We'll be taking a lot of rides, please bring front/rear lights and locks for your bikes or bikes you plan to borrow from Velocity.
Weather:
The forecast is calling for some colder days so be sure to bring some warm clothes so you can join us for the night's festivities.
Food:
To reduce waste, please be sure to bring re-usable eating utensils, plate and cup.
